Connecting to Databases

The most important part of any Corda image is the data it represents. While Corda Builder lets you manually specify data for each object in a Corda image, one of Corda Server's most useful features is its ability to import live, dynamic database data into Corda images.

Use Corda images as templates (Image Template files) to represent live data. When you request an image from Corda Server, it replaces the sample data in the Image Template file with live data. Corda Server can automatically rescale, resize, and reposition objects in an Image Template file if the live data set is significantly different from the sample data in the Image Template file. For more information, see Dynamically Resizing the Image Template File.
